The <postfield> tag contains information to be sent to the server along with a <go> tag.

Syntax

<postfield name="somename" value="somevalue"/>

Attributes

Attribute Value Description
name cdata REQUIRED. The name of the field
value cdata REQUIRED. The value of the field 
class class_name Sets a class name for the element. The class name is case sensitive. An element can be connected to multiple classes. Multiple class names within the class attribute are separated by white space
id id_name  Sets a unique name for the element

The <postfield> tag can also be used with the get method. Note: If you use this method, the fields and their values are added to the end of the URL:
