HTML id Attribute
HTML Standard Attributes
Definition and Usage
The id attribute is a unique identification for a HTML element.
The id attribute is often used with CSS or JavaScript (using the HTML DOM) to style or change the
HTML element with the specified unique id.
The id must be unique within the HTML document, this means that you can only
use the id once on a page, but re-use it on another page.
Alone, the id attribute does not affect the display style of the element.
